Protects and decorates all horizontal and vertical exterior wood: patios, decking, pool surrounds, cladding, shutters, gates, screens, etc. The transparent and ultra-matte effect of Exterior Wood Oil provides a very trendy finish that accentuates the natural beauty of the wood.

Ensure that surfaces to be treated are clean, dry and free of resin, grease stains or old protective coatings other than Ciranova Exterior Wood Oil, which must be maintained as normal.

Make sure that all old varnishes, paints, stains or oils are removed
Exterior Wood Oil cannot be applied over any other type of impregnations (saturator, oil)
Greyed woodwork should be treated
If necessary, apply an insecticide-fungicide treatment product
Light sanding (80-grit abrasive) after preparation on all surfaces, especially smooth wood or wood with a glossy, shiny surface will open the pores and facilitate penetration
Do not use steel wool
In all cases, thoroughly dust the surfaces before application

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times.

Please note: Before applying the exterior wood oil, ensure the wood is dry with at least 3 days of warm, sunny weather before application and that there will be no risk of rain within 24 hours after the second coat. You should also not apply to wood with a moisture content above 12%.

Ready to use: do not dilute
Shake well before use and during use
Appy the first coat in the direction of the wood grain, using a spalter (wide brush) or roller paying particular attention to grooves, joints and ends
Allow to penetrate for 20 to 30 minutes
As soon as the wood loses its damp appearance, without waiting for the product to dry, apply the second coat
Smooth with a dry spalter after a few minutes to achieve a beautiful appearance, without highlights or drips
These would indicate the formation of a surface file, if necessary, quickly remove them by lightly sanding
Drying Times

Complete drying time: 4 hours
Reuse: 16 hours.
