Application
Ciranova Fortico 2C can be used both as a primer and as a finishing coat. It can be applied in three coats.
Mix the waterborne finish with the hardener at 10 to 1 (10%)
Let the product settle for 15 minutes
Appy the product using a brush or short-pile roller
Apply the first coat in the direction of the wood
After 4 hours apply a second coat in the same way as the first
Let it dry for 6 hours and afterwards do an intermediate sanding using grit 180 - 220, make dust-free and apply the third coat
Drying Times
Dust dry: after 20 to 30 minutes
Sandable: after 4 to 6 hours
Lightly walkable: after 24 hours.
Fully cured: 7 days.
The drying times strongly depend on the amount applied, the surrounding temperature, the humidity and ventilation.
