Fiddes Exterior High Build Wood Oil gives outstanding durability and resistance on all external joinery and woodwork. Fiddes Exterior High Build Wood Oil is a blend of natural oils and resins, creating a transparent satin finish.

Fiddes Exterior High Build Wood Oil contains UV filters to prevent discolouration from the sun. Guaranteed not to peel or flake, with a finish that is water repellent and weather resistant.

In preparation, make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of any previous finish. On old wood, make sure that any fungal growth, mould or dirt has been removed and the surface treated with a preservative. Sand with a 120 grit abrasive and remove all dust.

Apply in dry conditions and stir the contents both before and during the application process. Brush on evenly, following the direction of the grain. Allow to dry and then sand lightly with a 320 grit abrasive. Apply the second and third coats as per the first but there will be no need to sand after the final coat is dry.

If re-applying to a surface previously treated with Exterior High Build Wood Oil, sand lightly with 150 grit abrasive and re-apply. Clean tools with White Spirit.
